Where are these pens manufactured?

Hi, the packaging says that its made in Japan.

Are these pens waterproof?

They are not advertised as waterproof. However, they are mostly waterproof. I have used a water brush over them, for watercolor. I wrote on printer paper and immediately ran under a faucet and the ink didn’t bleed or run. I was able to cause slight bleeding but only when I scribbled a thick line of ink and then scribbled on top with a water brush. There still wasn’t a significant amount of bleeding or running of ink. This only slightly blurred my lines and not enough to affect image. I hope this information is helpful.

Love these pens!!!

I was looking for an alternative to Muji’s hexagonal 0.25 pens since they’re already out of the market. Luckily, I found an article that says these Pilot hi-tec-C 0.25 pens are a good alternative. I tried writing with them as soon as I got them and I’m happy with the purchase. Muji’s is still the best and I’m hoping they would bring them back but this ones are great too.
