Thank you for interest in Quoc Viet Foods Beef Flavored Pho, each jar contains the concentrated stock and two spice packets. One jar is capable of making 20 bowls of Pho. You can divide the concentrated paste in half and use just one spice packet for 10 bowls. To make a fully authentic bowl of Beef Pho broth, you would need to have the following ingredients: 3lbs of beef flank or brisket, 1lb beef tendon, 1 bulb of onion, and 2 pieces of ginger. The instructions are on the jar. Full disclosure this is not a instant 5 minute microwave product. Cooking time is roughly an hour. The traditional way of cooking pho is about 6-8 hours- to put things into prospective.

Do you have to refrigerate the open container?

yes, I did. But I need to put the open container in a zipped plastic bag, otherwise, the soup base will be very hard to get them out, the refrigerator smells like a Pho restaurant.

How much do we use per cup of water?

Hi, You would use 9g or about 1.5 to 2 teaspoon of soup base per cup of water. If you use the entire 3-lb jar of soup base, then you will use 10 gallon of water.

What are the measurements if I want to make a single bowl? How do you use the spices for a small portion?
