I also wanted a short stem, so this fit the bill. I wasn't able to find one like this locally (surprisingly). It looks great - I don't usually like excessive branding but this isn't bad, really. It keeps you in a more upright position, so if you feel like you're leaning too far forward, it may be a good stem to check out. It's very sturdy and very well-made - the only downsides might be if it's not fitting you comfortably which is 100% personal preference and all about the way you like to ride.
