will this work for oily dandruff? It's like an oily dandruff build up on my scalp

Yes it works. But must be very careful with your hair. The hair can get frizzy dry and hard to manage. I think this product is best for the scalp only. I use another softer shampoo for my hair.

Can I use every day like regular shampoo?

It's recommended to use more like once a week or something like once every few washes. It may dry out your hair too much if you use it every day

Did anyone else notice an increase in flakes after several uses? I’m wondering if it’s because this is working to clear my scalp?

I have had the same thing happen, yes, and I believe you are correct. I think the increase in flakes is the build up being loosened and flaking off. I've been using it for about two weeks, and my dandruff has improved significantly.
