Don't waste your time with food coloring. This is a professional grade product designed to find leaks easily.
Worked perfectly. We had tried food coloring but it dissipates too quickly in the water. This really shows up, and doesn't take much product. We just used a small syringe we had for medicine dosing. It took some time because we didn't know where to start to look for the leak but persistence paid off and we found a hole in our pool liner behind the steps. I still have well over half the bottle left if we have a future issue.

All good ans as described. I tried finding the leak using a self made mix of food colouring with no luck. This product was so much easier. Definitely worth the price.

Faded colors
I purchased this to perform a couple of tests with our 3 toilets, not even pools. I had to pour at least 1/3 of the colourings in all three toilets in order to view the results. I was expecting to use less of the product. It's a decent product, but the color itself could've been a little darker.
