Baby Hand and Footprint Kit, Clay Keepsake Frame (Alpine White)

This hand and footprint kit is absolutely beautiful and made such a special keepsake for our baby. The frame looks elegant and high quality, and it fits perfectly with a neutral nursery decor. The clay was soft and easy to work with, and the instructions were very clear, which made the process stress-free even with a wiggly baby 😄 I really love that it includes space for both the handprint and footprint along with a photo — it makes the whole piece feel complete and sentimental. Once it dried, the prints held their shape nicely and look so delicate and detailed. This would make a perfect gift for new parents, baby showers, or first holidays. I was nervous based on the other reviews with the clay hardening quick but I did not have that issue. Of course do it as soon as possible once open but I had a decent amount of time to mold it and try again if I had messed up the print. It’s so cute the frame is lovely, quality is great for its price. I love it.

I gave the KeaBabies baby hand and footprint kit as a baby shower gift, and it was such a heartfelt choice. It's one of those gifts that goes beyond the usual essentials and creates a memory they can display and look back on, which makes it feel extra special.

It's a gift for grandma. It's well packaged, has instructions, but still need some skill or experience to make it good. I bought two set, the first one I made, I didn't smooth the clay enough, it's still sticky when I put it in the frame, so the clay stick on the wood stick when I roll it and very hard to make the surface smooth. The second one, I kneaded it longer time, so the clay looks smoother and easier to use the wood stick to roll on it. For the letters, it do take a while to take out the letter and number and arrange it in the right order, so get it ready before the clay, because the clay will dry fast. Then when it's baby's turn to imprint, it's also not easy to manage her, lol and not sure what's the right force to do it. She is 8 month now, the area is still big enough for her size. It took 2 days for the clay to dry, and because the print is not very deep and clear, so I decide to put color on it. Lastly, the frame can fit a 4x6 photo in it, and it can stand on desk or hang on the wall. Overall, it's a good product, just need a more detailed instructions (maybe even video format) or tips to avoid common mistakes, and produce a better/perfect work.

I purchased this for a "work acquaintance" baby shower. You know that one we all have felt like we should go to and bring something. Well not knowing this person well I searched unique baby shower gifts and this came up in the search. So all that being said I felt that it was a neat little kit that should be something different than anything else they were getting. I also thought it was priced appropriately and I thought it was something that was bound to be around for a very long time. The Mom seemed thrilled with the gift so I think If you are struggling with what to get someone this is a definite win.

This item is very good quality and easy to assemble. Glad I bought two!

Everyone I have given this to as a gift loves it. I have been told the hand print can be challenging.

Clay drys very quick and not enough clay for a proper imprint

Its a nice gift but not easy to create took my hubby and me a while and it was not easy to place our babys hand because was in fist. The coloring is also not too easy but its manageable. Would I buy it again Yes

Perfect yo keep memory.

Wir sind begeistert, wir haben bei unserer ersten Tochter vor 2,5 Jahren verschiedene Marken getestet und dieses Set war das Beste. Der Ton ist schön weich wodurch man nur leichten Druck braucht um einen schönen Abdruck zu bekommen. Sollte der Abdruck nicht passen kann man den Ton auch mehrfach neu kneten und es wieder hohlen, da die Babys am Anfang einen Greifreflex haben kann es gut sein das man mehr als einen Versuch braucht… bei anderen Marken wurde der Ton etwas schneller fest was weitere Versuche erschwerte… Da wir von diesem Abdruckset so begeistert sind haben wir es bereits 4 mal Bestellt und benutzt. Als letztes auch als Weihnachtsgeschenk mit einem Hand Abdrücken von beiden Kinder (siehe Bild) unsere Große war zu diesem Zeitpunkt 2,5 Jahre und ihre Hand hat noch gut drauf gepasst… kleiner Tipp vor weg. Das Baby sollte schlafen und in den ersten 14 Tagen ist es am einfachsten da die Babys hier am tiefsten schlafen. Maße: Passepartout maße… - Die Ausschnitte / Felder für die Abdrücke sind 8,5cm x 13 cm -Der Ausschnitt für das Bild ist 8,5cm x 12,7cm, (Bildgröße) ein normales 11x15cm Bild passt ohne zuschneiden. Die 3 Passpartouts haben alle die gleichen maße nur der Schrieftzug unter dem Bild ist ein anderer Bilderrahmen maße… 32,8cm x 19,9cm Produkt: -Die Scheibe ist aus Echtglas der Ramen aus „Holz“ kein Echtholz denke das wird so Presspapier-holz Mischung sein (kein Plastik) -Der Rahmen kann mit einem Nagel/Schraube/Haken befestigt werden oder mit der Rückenstütze hingestellt werden. So Funktioniert es (Kurze Anleitung aus eigener Erfahrung, natürlich liegt eine Detaillierte und gut verständliche Anleitung mit bei)… Der Ton ist in zwei einzelnen Tüten verpackt sollte also das Baby nach einem Abdruck aufwachen kann man den anderen Abdruck zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt durchführen. Den Ton einfach etwas kneten und in der vorm platt drücken. Es liegt eine kleine Holzrolle bei mit der man den Ton gut in den ausschnitt einbringen kann, leider ist die Rolle etwas kürzer als der Ausschnitt breit ist aber das ist trotzdem gut machbar. Die letzten Unebenheiten haben wir dann mit einem trockenen Esslöffel raus gestrichen. Dann mit Rahmen zum Baby und Hand oder Fuß leicht eindrücken (Achtung das die Zehen und Finger schon abgedrückt sind). Wenn der Ton beim Abdruck machen oder in den ersten Minuten beim trocknen leicht reist, einfach den Finger etwas nass machen und ganz leicht über dir Rissstelle gehen. Weg mag kann auch Namen, Alter oder ähnliches in den Ton stempeln, hierfür ist alles im Set enthalten. Ich würde hier aber empfehlen die Buchstaben und Zahlen vorher vorzubereiten. Der Ton ist nach ca. 1 Tag (24 Stunden relativ best) ich würde ihn aber noch etwas länger liegen lassen das er wirklich richtig trocken ist wir haben ihn nach 2 Tagen in den Rahmen etwas später ist uns aufgefallen das am Glas etwas feuchtigkeit zu sehen war. Wir können das Set sehr empfohlen.
