This deodorant is awesome! It works super well. I like several scents - lavender, citrus, patchouli. It’s definitely messy so you need to get used to that. My only negative feedback is that the package says that one container lasts 2-3 months. This is not true at all. I get vaguely irritated every time I read it on the container, lol. It lasts 1 month. I’m not sure who tested this or made that a “selling point” but it’s annoying. It would never last for 2-3 months. I suppose everyone is different though. If anyone from the company reads this, I would suggest removing that as a selling point on the package. BTW I’m a woman (writing from a man’s account). Great product though. Love it and have bought many times.

I've been using this deodorant for probably two years now. To be honest, I had gotten it for free and didn't like it (bc it wasn't a stick) the one time I used it and so it sat in my cabinet as I tried all the other natural brands. When all those were unsatisfactory to me (barely worked!), I turned back to PurelyGreat and found:Pros: It smells nice, it doesn't stain my clothes, it's easy to apply with just one finger (esp if your skin is damp), and most importantly, I can go up to THREE DAYS before needing to shower/reapply before I start to smell - even through the summer. Granted, I'm not the smelliest person, but still.Cons: It's pretty annoying to stir a mostly full container of this stuff. I solved this by keeping two on hand, and scooping a big dollop of freshly mixed paste into the empty one every once in a while. That might sound like a lot of trouble, but it really isn't.Also, this paste does dry quickly but it does have a slightly tacky feel to your skin that I noticed ONLY if I rub the paste too far outside my immediate armpit. There's no chaffing or discomfort to notice, just a slight tacky feel on my chest if I get too careless where I put it.All in all, I totally recommend this. I know this brand has a stick deodorant that I keep telling myself that I'll try, but the paste works so well that I haven't bothered.

I'm so happy with this product. It took me a minute to get used to it. I've been a "clinical anti-perspirant" user for a long time, and I'm trying to be better with my aluminum situation (after seeing it in some blood work).I found it on EWG's Healthy Living app, and have been using it ever since. It's great that it has no aluminum or parabens. Before this product, I had used Native's stick deodorant, and several others. The other products felt greasy and did not do much for me.This product is excellent. You still sweat, which is something to get used to, but you don't stink. It's not sticky. It's not stinky (which many other natural deodorants are...ironic!). Every couple of weeks, when I need to not sweat like a pig, I might use my old clinical anti-perspirant. That's not a purist's approach, but it works great for me, and surely reduces the aluminum getting in my body.In the first photo, you can see what an almost-empty pot looks like overnight. Then the second photo after some stirring.Applying deodorant with your finger is different. It's weird at first. But you get used to it in a few days, and it is no big deal. I do not have any residue or gray looking skin.It's kind of like natural nut butters. You have to work for it when you first stir it - it takes a bit longer on the first go. After that, there's not a burdensome amount of stirring to do each day. Be sure to stir it well from the beginning so that it isn't dry when you make it to the bottom.

I don’t know why, at first I was so happy with it, but after one month my husband and I started to notice it irritated us, actually burns.
