Beautiful silk ribbon!
I have purchased this ribbon many before and its just beautiful. I'm now starting to make Blythe doll clothes and these are perfect for that! I plan to buy many more colors! I just ordered two more! The silk is just so elegant.

great for embroidery and dying
I use this ribbon for botanical dying and to make ribbon flowers. It takes the dyes beautifully.

Smaller than expected
When I first saw the spool it looks so small, but the ribbon is very good, and ribbon size is accurate.

Takes dye well
Experimented with fabric dyes, fabric markers and alcohol markers. Also Derwent Inktense pencils. The light blues make some interesting greens when blotchily mixed with yellow and green dyes. My goal is to make my own variegated ribbon, and this stuff works very well. The fabric markers worked best because I could control the color a bit more. I scribbled blotches of ink on a white ceramic plate. Then I put the ribbon in a pile and spritzed once with a coarse spray of water. I lifted the ribbon up and down a few times to help scatter the water drops around. Then I laid the ribbon around on the plate colors, lifting it up and down, also pushing it around with a toothpick. I was after a very uneven and blotchy color and that's what I got! The only thing is it will dry much less intense than when wet. This same method would prob work with alcohol markers and an alcohol sprayer, tho I didn't get that far. Inktense are labeled as waterproof when dry, but in my experience a lot of the color will lift even after drying completely. These are the fabric markers I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYH5DU4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Great for silk chokers
Beautiful silk ribbon! The spool is about the size of a spool of thread! But that's fine for me. I want to use it to make silk chokers for my neck so it's perfect. Not a true navy blue. Very slightly on the teal-ish side, but it's not a big deal.

not 100% silk
this was not 100% silk ribbon as stated. I have contacted the seller who say I should ask for a refund, but I don't know who is responsible for refunding me. I am not at all happy with this

False colour
The colour was not a seafoam green, simply a medium green.

NOT 100% pure silk
The ribbon I received was definitely NOT 100% pure silk. I have done comparison tests with silk ribbons I have bought before and; it does not feel like silk, it is stiff, and it does not pass either the bleach or burn tests. When burned it forms hard melted lumps, and bleach does not affect it all, compared with a piece of genuine silk ribbon, which disintegrates after a short while. Lesson learnt ... buy from reputable sellers or in shops.
