I have two of the STARTRC Sun Hood Sunshades. I use them on my eBike for two side-by-side mounted Motorola cellphones that I utilize for remote control and monitoring of two video cameras. These shades absolutely help reduce the glare and reflection from the Florida sun.

This sunshade did not come with any instructions on how to fold it properly. It arrives completely flat and it has to be folded to make it into the sunshade box shown in the listing. There are 2 sets of magnetic flaps. The magnets are weak, barely suitable for this task. It is clear from how weak the magnets are that they are NOT neodymium magnets but standard cheap 'refrigerator' grade magnets. It is sufficient to get the job done, barely. The hardest part is getting the sunshade into the DJI controller's phone clip. It's a VERY difficult balancing act. It is very time consuming to get it situated. As useful as the sunshade is at keeping direct sunlight off the screen, I find myself skipping over using it often because of how inconvenient it is to deploy. Only on the sunniest days do I feel it is worth the struggle of trying to usile the sunshade. TIP: Make sure to connect the remote control's wire to the phone before messing with the sunshade or you'll end up having to adjust the sunshade again. There has to be a better technique to deploying the sunshade but without any instructions I rely on practice and muscle memory to reduce the time and difficulty of deploying the sun shades. CONCLUSION: This works exactly as you'd expect but I find it frustrating to use due to the difficulties in get my phone aligned correctly in the sunshade and then trying to align the phone AND sunvisor again into the remote's phone holder.

Very nice compact folds flat so you can put it in with your drone, fits skyrover x1 perfectly. Shades the screen in bright light, all connections fit, phone opening, & mounted behind phone, all measurements correct. Highly recommended for skyrover x & s

Works for what it is wish it cut more of the glare

Chiunque abbia un drone e abbia provato a portarlo al mare, o in un posto molto soleggiato, anche una sola volta sa cosa vuol dire non riuscire a vedere nulla sullo schermo del proprio smartphone mentre il drone e in volo, e trovarsi a fare video alla cieca senza poter capire se si sta girando un buon video o meno, soprattutto gli utenti iPhone dato che questi tendono a diminuire la luminosità quando fa troppo caldo e sono esposti troppo tempo al sole . Ecco con questo parasole finalmente risolveremo questo irritante problema e riusciremo a vedere bene lo schermo senza dover più preoccuparci di nulla. Questo parasole è perfetto, ha la dimensione perfetta, e cosa importantissima non intacca la connessione tra radiocomando e drone, dato che non va messo avanti alle antenne. é facilissimo da montare dato che ha delle piegature che fanno capire il verso giusto e tutti gli attacchi sono magnetici quindi quasi si monta da solo. Inoltre, chi ha la versione combo, sarà felice di sapere che questo parasole entra perfettamente nella tasca sottile all'interno della borsa, sembra che quella tasca sia fatta a posta per questo parasole tanto che ci entra perfettamente. Insomma un prodotto veramente valido, economico ma che è veramente indispensabile per avere la garanzia di poter pilotare il nostro drone in maniera tranquilla vedendo bene tutto ciò che inquadriamo.

Je l'utilise avec un mini 2 et un Samsung S8. Très petit, donc tient bien dans la pochette que j'ai acheté pour mon mini 2. Facile à monter, il y a juste un coup à prendre, c'est de mettre le pare soleil avant le téléphone et... de mettre la prise du S8 à gauche au lieu d'à droite. A droite cela fait appuyer sur certains boutons du téléphone. Mais rien à dire, cela protège bien du soleil. Je recommande!

After you get used to the fitting of it and the placement of the phone and the phone connector in the side its a great addition for when its bright sunlight, only niggle is trying to get to some screen icons on the DJI Go Fly app screen. It’s well made and fits together a treat with the magnetic flaps, I cut the small flap off where it goes into the phone as it was proving a right pain in the bum!! lol. But overall a good purchase if a little pricey but the good outweighs the negatives, would I recommend it? Yes.
