He's a 15 y/o lab and I noticed in the mornings he's started to act stiff and achy. He now has a bit more pep in his step and takes way less time getting up after long naps. I simply top his dry food with the recommended amount for his body weight and he loves it. I haven't noticed any issues with bowel movements or stomach upsets since starting it either so I would say it's very digestible and way easier than trying to get my dog to take a pill. As far as odor goes, it doesn't smell great however the smell is mild enough that you don't really notice it unless you're trying to. Review: Noticeable difference in my dog’s coat - Started adding this Native Pet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil to my dog’s food a few weeks ago and the results have been clear. His coat is softer, shinier, and he’s scratching a lot less than before. It’s easy to use—just pump the recommended amount onto his food. The smell isn’t overpowering and he doesn’t mind it at all. I like that it’s made from wild Alaskan salmon and is suitable for both dogs and cats. No digestive issues so far and the bottle lasts a good while. If you’re looking for a straightforward omega-3 supplement to support skin and coat health, this one has worked well for us. ## Features - 2 Wild-Caught Fish Sources, Zero Fillers: Most fish oils rely on a single source; Native Pet combines wild-caught Alaskan salmon oil and wild-caught pollock oil for a cleaner, more complete omega 3 fatty acid profile. Formulated with a Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist and quality tested for purity and potency, this salmon oil for dogs delivers real nutrition with no fillers and made with non-GMO ingredients - Pump, Pour, Done - 30-Day Supply Per Bottle: The 8 oz bottle comes with a leak-proof pump dispenser featuring a locking mechanism for mess-free, no-guesswork serving every time. Simply pump this liquid omega oil for dogs directly onto kibble or wet food; even picky eaters lap it up. Each bottle provides approximately a 30-day supply for a typical dog; check the label for weight-based dosage guidelines - Skin Comfort and Coat Health From the Inside Out: Dull coats, dry skin, and seasonal shedding are signs your dog's diet may be missing vital fatty acids. This dog salmon oil delivers omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids that support a healthy skin barrier, skin comfort, and a visibly healthier-looking coat with consistent daily use. The natural fish scent dogs find irresistible makes it easy to stay consistent - Joint Comfort and Whole-Body Wellness for Every Life Stage: Omega 3 for dogs supports joint comfort and mobility, making it especially valuable for senior dogs navigating stiff mornings. It also supports heart health as a secondary daily benefit. This fish oil pairs well with your dog's existing supplement routine; for puppies or nursing pets, consult your veterinarian before starting any new supplement - For Dogs and Cats - Fill the Kibble Nutrition Gap: Dry kibble diets often leave omega fatty acids behind; this natural fish oil for dogs and cats helps bridge that gap with one simple daily pump. Manufactured at an NASC member facility for quality you can trust. Check the label for storage guidelines after opening. Please Note: Packaging may vary due to design changes. Contents remain unchanged in quality and ingredients. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08R589VZ2 | | Active Ingredients | wild-caught salmon oil, wild-caught pollock oil | | Best Sellers Rank | #109 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #2 in Dog Fish Oil Supplements | | Brand | Native Pet | | Brand Name | Native Pet | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 16,110 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Flavor | Omega Oil | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00860003115282 | | Included Components | 8 Oz Omega Oil with Pump | | Item Form | Oil | | Item Type Name | Native Pet Omega 3 Fish Oil for Dogs - Made with Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil for Dogs with Omega 3 EPA DHA - Supports Itchy Skin + Mobility - Liquid Pump is Easy to Serve - a Fish Oil Dogs Love! It's for cats and dogs! Our vet nutritionist recommends the same servings (1 pump / 10 lbs) for cats! Thank you, Pat **Q: should I refrigerated after opening ?** A: I refrigerate mine just as a personal preference because I live in a very warm & humid climate. Even the best air conditioning system can't keep up with the heat here on so many days per year. I just prefer to not smell it like I do if I leave it out. The pump is so convenient but I think maybe a lid that would fit over the pump in its open position that would seal in the smell would definitely be a nice additionto the packaging. But I can't smell it at all in my refrigerator & it's working wonders for my APBT & my 2 OEB's so YAY!! **Q: Is the pump broken? I keep turning the pump in the direction the arrow states but it never "releases" to allow me to pump it open. Secret trick?** A: I had to apply light pressure while turning the pump **Q: Why is the bottle only 3/4 full?** A: I got one from target that was the same way. It’s fluid weight so it doesn’t actually have to fill the bottle! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Investment, Especially for Older Dogs *by K***E on October 6, 2026* I have seen an improvement in my dog's joint health since starting him on this supplement!
