Nice punchdown tool- my network upgrade is complete
This was my first time ever punching down a punch panel.I ordered this tool on a whim since it looked identical to a brand name tool. This one worked just fine. I punched down the panel. Yes a few wires did not slice off on the first punch, however it could have been a user error. Again never used a punch in my entire life.Did a 50 punch panel and the tool worked just as good as the first punch.Give it a chance and you will thank me!

Works but I had issues. Not sure if it was this or bad connectors
I had problems with the end connections on Ethernet wall plate connectors also bought here. The plastic on the ends broke and the wires weren’t sufficiently seated in the slots. I ended up having to use a fine screwdriver to seat the wires. I’m not sure if this was because of the tool or the connectors. I’ve used other punch down tools and connectors purchased from tool and electronics providers and not had this problem.

Good tool
Although other reviews indicate that a 66 punch down bit was not included mine actually did indeed come with the 66 bit. Overall the tool performed well. The second bit was stored in the handle. I have had zero problems with it.

Worth The Money Great Product
Highly recommend! Very easy to push in the wires it does cut off the excess wire. Works just like the ones I used in college. At half the price compared to other Name brands it is worth the money.

Not good for commercial use
This really is a bad punch down took but because of great customer service I gave it two stars. This may work for small jobs or home use. We had to refix 200 failed jacks

Could have been good
Problem is, the 110 end of the 66/110 combo bit was made far too wide to fit in the handle. The bit can't be properly inserted into the handle if you need the 66 block tool, unless you want it permanently installed in that configuration as it will seize.Someone fell asleep when they were designing the bits for this toolAVOID!

Get what you pay for
I've used a few cheap punchdown tools that came as part of kits (I'm not a pro installer) but they were either hard work or broke quickly (or both!).I've used this to punch cat6 cable into my 24-port patch panel at home along with wall sockets around the house and it's been great! Definitely feels like you get what you pay for! What it costs more over the cheap kitsbyou'll save in sanity and the need to redo numerous cables =)

easy to use, great price
I used this punch down to terminate my CAT6 that I newly installed. I did 8 rj45 ends and the same number on a patch panel. All connection were successful on the first try, but the blade rarely cut off the excess wire. It did "nick" it enough that it easily broke off with a slight twist. Comes with a spare blade in the handle. Overall good cost effective tool for DIY.

Funciona a medias
Las cuchillas para ethernet entran muy bien en la herramienta de push down, pero la cuchilla tipo 66 no entra de ninguna forma
