This makes a big mess, but it is so much fun. You have to let the clay dry a little when it first comes out of the package because it is the consistency of mud. However, after you let it dry (to about play-doh texture) this is so much fun. It is also much better than play-doh because any that gets dried out can be reanimated with water. You can also let it dry a couple of days to make fun pottery. You don't need the plastic pottery wheel or anything, just shape and play. Have fun!

Fun, slightly messy project
This worked really well, you must keep it wrapped up to retain the moisture until you are ready to use it. Re-wrap any extras in a ziplock for future use. It dried overnight and we painted it the next day. Fun, slightly messy project. Definitely use a plastic table cloth. We get them in bulk from the $1 store and just tape them to the table outside and have fun with it.

Great clay!
The kids used this to make pots, cups, and figures. Worked great with the pottery wheel they have and even though it wasn't white clay, it did not discolor the wheel. The kids said the texture was great. It dried quickly and stayed together as expected.

Granddaughter loves this stuff
I bought my granddaughter a potter's wheel for Christmas 2 years ago and had to buy more clay for her shortly after. She absolutely loves this stuff.

Toy
I wish I had splurged and bought a better pottery wheel. The slightest pressure on the clay stops this wheel from turning. It is definitely just a toy. A very messy toy.
