The product is fantastic (would give a five star rating), but very disappointed the box was ripped (previously opened) and the carry bag was missing.

Bought these micro spikes in February of this year which was only 3 months ago and have used them maybe less then a dozen times.For the most part they're not a bad micro spike but after only a handful of times using them they started to rust at all the metal parts and on my last time using them the rivet popped out of the rubber and the rubber broke in half.This was extremely disappointing as I was on the other side of a pretty steep icy escarpment that I had just traveled across and needed to go back the way I came.It's very very frustrating when the gear you buy to do a certain task breaks down on you at the top of a mountain. There should be a one year warranty on this product but I can't find anymore to return them or get a refund. I guess this is why you should buy all your heavy duty and expensive hiking gear in stores so you can actually have someone to talk to in the event of it breaking down.Would like a refund or return, not suitable for any heavy duty use and in my opinion not a very well built unit.Slick design and good for mild walks through the forest - but for that price tag you could buy 5 pairs of cheap micro spikes that will do the same job.

I really liked the convenience of putting on and taking these off. The Boa system was super intuitive as well. Unfortunately, after just a few uses, the rubber snapped and these are no longer usable.

I bought these in medium for my men's size 10 Redwing safety toe boots. They did fit... barely. I slipped and broke my wrist recently so while someone with full strength may be able to easily get the rubber/elastic band around the sole of their similarly sized footwear, I will be ordering a larger size for myself. My wife liked them though and they fit well, and easily, on her women's size 8 safety toe Carolina boots. I awarded it 3 stars for now, the construction of the cleats and the accompanying stuff bag were impressive enough until I get a pair to fit me and put them through their paces.
