I buy a box of Crane at least once a year for fancier notes or the rare hand written business correspondence. Among the best papers out there. Smooth writing regardless of pen type. Nice thick foil lining on the envelope flap. I should also say it takes the ink well when using a rubber stamp.

I've been using this stationery for years, and is incredibly high quality. The paper is made out of cotton fibers rather than wood pulp, and just feels incredible. It absorbs ink really nicely, and works well with fountain pens. The fleur-de-lis lining of the envelopes has a satin metallic sheen, and is just really impressive. Every time I use one of these notes, I always get a comment from the recipient- it's a great way to make an impression or to be remembered!

THE best writing stock at reasonable price. Have been using Crane for years to write special notes. Often use sealing wax and monogram seal for an extra old school touch.

While the cards themselves were fine, the cost of $44.00 for an item that was stickered $20. Is a bit rich!
