How loud is the watch in DB?

Got this watch for my Mom, who is blind and hard of hearing.....could be a little louder, but is sufficient for her to use

Does this watch announce the date each time you press the button to hear the time?

The first time you press it tells the time. Then if you press again right away it tells the date. The third and fourth pushes tell if the alarm is set or not and what time the alarm is set for. After a brief pause you are back to the start where the first push does the time, etc. The second, third and fourth pushes are not needed unless you want that information.
