Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Auto Focus-S Nikkor Wide Angle Zoom Lens (Renewed)

My new favorite lens, will be pretty much using this for everything! I'm a wedding photographer and a lot of the time I will shoot everything before the reception on a 58mm and the reception on a 35mm. My 35mm was needing to be replaced so I grabbed this, but ended up loving it so much for portraits and everything in-between too. This is such a versatile lens that I'l literally be able to shoot an entire wedding with only this. Beautiful texture, nice and sharp, great bokeh, nice and fast to track and focus, great colors. I love how well it sticks on whatever aperture I've twisted it to without needing to hold it in place, as I'm often shooting things with one hand especially when I'm reaching over heads on a packed dance floor. I have this on an adapter to use with my Nikon z6ii. Highly highly recommend!

Buying used equipment is always done with trepidation and a fair amount of suspicion. Not with this lens! First off, when it arrived, I could have easily mistook it for a brand new and unused lens. I mean it. Not even a scratch! It's absolutely beautiful, but the performance is stunning with awesome and brilliant color rendition. The AF motor is surprisingly silent to the point of being inaudible to me and super fast, too. If it sounds like I'm gushing over this lens, then I have described it perfectly. This is my second used/reconditioned lens to buy from Amazon and I won't hesitate to do it again.

If I could give 0 starts I would. And I quote "This pre-owned product has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers." Well if this item had been professionally inspected, tested, and cleaned by qualified people then they would have known that the autofocus did not work and wouldn't have tried to sell it. That's my complaint to the seller, make sure that the thing works. My problem is not with the lens per-se but with the seller. The lens is sharp and and has a great reputation, that's why I wanted it. If I had known that the autofocus didn't work I wouldn't have bought it. Good thing I went over to Adorama and found the same lens for $400.00 cheaper, AND THE AUTOFOCUS WORKS.

I examined the 24-70 2.8 lens carefully when it arrived. It came in the original box with its manual, lens hood, lens cap and case. It was pristine as far as I could tell and the photos I have taken so far are sharp (without any calibration required). Just the find I was looking for.

Exceeded all my expectations! My images are super sharp. It's perfect for the events and the lifestyle photos I shoot. The only thing I have to get used to is the extra weight but other than that I love using it!

When I saw the price for this lens I was happy to buy it. Shipping and getting the lens took only 2 day ( very fast ) , but … Lens was stated as refurbished but excellent condition, not really. Body has visible scratches, focus is not accurate ( I could adjust that problem in my camera ) but third and last , when focusing manually it make some noise and this for excellent condition is not acceptable… Sorry guys ( seller) but item is not exactly what you described…
