We make homemade dog food for one of the meals our boy has and I was wondering if this can be cooked in with his food or should it be given on top?

Dried kelp is rich in vitamins and minerals and I would advise against cooking it as it will destroy the integrity of the product. I simply sprinkle on top of each dog's food and do a quick mix to incorporate the kelp into the dog food. My dogs all readily eat it.

Can I add this onto frozen treats I make for my dog?

Shouldn't be a problem doing that, the product is very small flakes

Can't this be fed to poultry too since it's only pure kelp?

Yes, this is the MFG. recommended feeding rate: Mix in feed at 1 to 2% of grain ration or 0.1 to 0.5% of Dry Matter Intake (DMI), depending on the species. Kelp can also be fed free choice, alone or with salt, or top dressed. Poultry - 0.5% DMI (Dry Matter Intake) 1% Grain Ration.
