A lot of the cooking that we do involves the use of Paprika and Hungarian style is what we like the most. I like the large size as both myself and my wife cook with it often. This is a good value compared to what you get in the grocery aisle at the store. Because peppers are sourced from many places even in the same brand of paprika is not always consistently the same flavor and sometimes what you make can be a little too bitter or a little too sweet. That's why you sample it and then adjust accordingly. If it's a little to bitter you can tame the flavor with a little butter or sugar, but I prefer butter. Likewise if its a little too sweet you can a little more of this product. Its just that manufactures try to have the same flavor profile but are not always successful. No need to throw anything out, just adjust. We use this mainly for color and sometimes darker is better than lighter, it all depends on what other ingredients you are using.

Great paprika for the price! I would definitely purchase this product again and definitely will when I make up another batch of my homemade BBQ rub !

I like smoked paprika for a lot of things, but this sweet Hungarian paprika is hands down my favorite for so many dishes. This goes great on chicken before you roast it, it's heaven on deviled eggs, it adds flavor and color to sauces. It has such a lovely flavor, slightly smokey, slightly sweet. Large container for when you use it a lot! We have a shaker of it on the table along with salt and pepper!

I'm kind of confused why I can buy this large of a container for about the same cost as one of the mini ones in the store. It tastes great, I do enjoy McCormick spices. For the value, it's simply so good it is strange. I compared the price to the small ones in store and I just don't understand how you can charge so much for packaging. If you want a good supply of paprika, this is probably your best choice you can make.
