A lot of people don't like Paul Murray's take on The Phantom Blot, but personally, I disagree. While he's significantly lighter hearted than his original introduction thanks to 1960's comic codes, he's still a brilliant criminal mastermind whom everyone in universe takes seriously.

Hard cover, perfect colors, perfect size. Paul Murry again bringing joy and good memories. Phantom Blot “marking” his imprints once more. We DO NOT have substitution for these geniuses like him, Carl Barks, Floyd Gottfredson. It worths every cent!!

Buenas ediciones de los clásicos italianos, editados dignamente, y en inglés (a la espera de que Planeta los saque en España con su correspondiente clavada). Esta historia no me ha entusiasmado demasiado, pero compensa el resto...

Wieder ein gelungener Band des Disney-Altmeisters! Druck, Farben, Papier ohne Beanstandungen. Die Geschichten sind erste Sahne, schnörkellos gezeichnet, logisch aufgebaut, humorvoll, super. Warum werden Don Rosa und Barks so oft aufgelegt, dass man sie nicht mehr sehen kann bzw. als Sammler ihre Geschichten gleich mehrfach serviert bekommt? Murry etwa hat Dutzende spannende, längere Geschichten gezeichnet. Die sollten ausgegraben werden; und Strobl, Bradbury, Scarpa, Scala, Gottfredson ... Auch im Mäuse-Enten-Kosmos gibt es noch viel wiederzuentdecken.

In the excellent and consolidated tradition of Fantagraphics Disney series, also this book is of top quality. These original 1960s stories are printed with great care and superb coloring for a perfect rendering of the art of Paul Murry. Also the biographic notes at the end of the volume are accurate. A must for all fans of Walt Disney comics.
