Very pretty
The media could not be loaded. It was fun to assemble and paint. They are more like a toy or ornamental, birds don't like flashy homes, but they came out pretty good I think.

Grandkids building project.
Our two grandson, ages 5 and 3 loved helping grandpa put the two birdhouses together and then THEY painted one each. Now hanging on trees in the back yard at THEIR house. Assembly was easy. A little glue, included, and easy instructions for them to be shown. The smiles, laughs and overall enjoyment all worth the modest cost. Waiting to do it again next summer.

Very fun to do for 5 up to 9 year old!
Kids would have liked to have some directions on assembly. Pictures would have been great for non- readers. Easy to figure out for older kids but not younger. I ordered two sets and they thoroughly enjoyed putting them together. They each put their own stamp of creativity on the bird houses! Overall, a wonderful value for the money!

Fun and easy to figure out
My grand daughters loved these. They came out adorable. I put a clear coat finish over them after they finished so they would last longer out side. Definitely needed supervision, and I had to put them together, but the kids painted them and put the flowers on them. SO CUTE!

great project to do with the kids
My daughter and I had tons of fun putting this together. each hole was quite sized perfectly. You might have to apply some force to get it to fit tho, becareful to hold all sides when pushing down as well, to much force and the wood will break. Holds well. For the bird perch, i would coat the end of the wooden Dowel with glue and then push it into the dowel hole. the glue will be the only thing holding it, but will hold easily for a bird :)

Missing parts
Order for my children to make for their Mothers day gift. Upon arrival pieces were missing. Not happy as i said this was a gift and the kids were terribly upset. Slots also were not cut big enough making assembly very difficult.
