Nice is awesome. I take it with me every time I go hiking.

The knife is beautiful and it fits very well in the hand the blade is nicely sharpened and the leather work on the sheath is top notch. Can't wait to get out and give it a real test. The only thing is it is a little larger then I expected, but you can still climb up on it to get extra leverage. Very happy with the knife.

The knife did come in abit dull but nothing a belt sharpener can't fix. I assume it was not sharpened to a absolute point to avoid cutting into the sheath during transport? Though this is an assumption- not an definite reason. So I do appreciate that consideration, the sheath itself, I love how well it was put together. There is a nice thick strip of leather that was placed between the ends of leather to make up the edge, which means for the knife to slice into the seams, it's going to have to work though the thick layer of leather. Long story short, this is a very nice knife. Both knife and sheath are beautifully well done. Would recommend if sharpening/resharpening it is not a deal-breaker.

This knife arrived so dull it wouldn't even cut a cold stick of butter. I'm not kidding. I took it to a knife sharpening shop and had to pay a nice chunk just to get it up to standards. The guy said it was the dullest 'knife' – if you dare call it that– that he ever seen. At first, he recommended simply returning it, but I couldn't find this style anywhere and he obliged to fix it. Be prepared to take it in, if not once, a couple of times.

The knife was nice. A little too big for what we wanted, so I returned it. Several months later I get charged back for the knife, Amazon claimed it was not received. I called, the agent found where it WAS received back, but a month later, I get another email saying I was being charged for the knife because I did not return it. Thank heavens I saved my receipt showing the return!!
