Review: Great small battery - I bought this Yuasa NP4-12 battery for my push mower. After letting it trickle charge before first use, I put it in and it worked great right away. The battery has good power and starts the mower without any hesitation. It feels well built and solid, which is what I expected from Yuasa. So far it’s holding its charge well and running the mower like it should. I’m glad I went with this one instead of a cheaper option. For the price and performance it seems like a reliable choice for small engines like my mower. Will see how it holds up over the season, but for now I’m satisfied with the purchase.

**Q: Is this a genuine Yuasa battery or a Genesis / Enersys battery as one of your reviewers has stated?**
A: Mine was marked and branded Yuasa.

**Q: what are the messurments  for this item yuasa battery np4-12 12 v 4ah battery**
A: The battery measures 3-1/2" wide by 2-7/8" deep by 4" high. I hope this helps you.

**Q: What is the: a. useful life b: warranty period?**
A: This is a battery backup for my home alarm system.  The life span is about a year and a half.  I am not sure about the warranty but I am happy with its performance.

**Q: How long do I charge this battery?**
A: If this battery is for Alarm System purposes: It will recharge itself automatically when connected. 
In the meantime after installing it: The Alarm System will keep indicating that the battery is at fault, but as soon as the battery is fully charged (will take several minutes)  the "error" panel light will be Off. Hope this helps :)
