Put liquid soap in a dish, add an inch of warm water. Dunk the brush head down, rotate it making sure bristles are getting wet. Try to keep metal part dry. I also recommend real techniques brush cleansing palette. You can use bar soap like dr.bronners, wet the brush, get soapy and clean on that palette. Then rinse under running water (try not to wet metal and wood part). Dry head down or at a slight angle laying down cause if water sips into the wood part where the glue is, it might get dissolved and your brush will lose its head. You can buy brush tree to dry brushes head down. Those are very handy.
