I read through all the instructions as far as how to put this apparatus together. I placed it on my doberman pinscher who at the time was approximately 60 pounds. We went for a walk and this was a complete fail for us. It did not in any way minimize his pulling. Although it may have been uncomfortable for him to pull while he had this harness on it did not keep him from doing what he wanted to do. I got more results out of a pinch collar then I did with this. Unfortunately it's past the warranty time for me to return it so I'm stuck with it. Perhaps it may be better for a smaller dog but it just did not work for my Dobie.

I just received the leash today. I immediately started using it on my labradoodle, who gets a little excited and pulls when leashed. She immediately responded by stopping when she pulled and the leash tightened on her rib cage. I think it will work work pretty good, I just have to get my schnauzer under control and not taunting her to play and chase him.

I love the body collar! I purchased it for a 1 year old yellow lab/golden retriever mix who I'm sitting for 2 weeks! She's a very strong puller, and the body collar definitely cuts down on the force and frequency of her pulling! The body collar is VERY easy to put on once you get the hang of it! As soon as I ordered it, I received an email with specific instructions as to how to use it. It's very well made and sturdy. I highly recommend it!

This is wonderful! We have a 60 lb Golden Retriever who is quite strong-willed. When she sees a rabbit or another animal she wants to "meet and greet", it is hard to control her. We have had this for only a week, but we see a major improvement in her leash walking skills! We have tried every collar and leash available, and this is the best one we have found! We are quite impressed!

Our 10 year old golden retriever pulled all the time making our walks sometimes unpleasant. We tried the bodycollar yesterday and it was unbelievable from the start how it worked. No more yanking her neck so hard. She stopped pulling. We used the techniques of taking a few steps back and waiting if she did any sign of pulling. I wish we had found this product 10 years ago. This BodyCollar is great! I have an older 73 pound AmStaff who definitely has a mind of his own. I have tried many other options over the years & this is the FIRST time Bogie will walk on a "loose" leash. He responds more easily and positively now when out on walks. It also saves my right shoulder from added strain & stress for which I am thankful.

Its a decent leash, though it doesn't appear to lessen the pulling from my dog. Doesn't rub under my dog's front leg like a similar product did, and I love that it hooks around the neck collar, and can be added or removed easily without having to remove his tags, etc.

Good quality construction, I would like it to have a bit smoother movement through the collar rings, and I expect better results when my pup gets a little larger, and the collar will fit more snugly. As it is, it gives me a bit more control when he bolts, but he still pretty much ignores any gentle suggestion. Fortunately, as is, it's helped me have longer training sessions and he's making leaps and bounds in attentiveness and obedience. TLDR: it's not a substitute for putting in training time, but does seem helpful.
