I purchased this mobile knife bag for my home chef of a husband. We will soon be moving from one home very far away to a new home, and I wanted him to be able to package his treasured Henkels knives (along with his magnetic knife strip) in such a way that he could keep a close watch on them and not just throw them in a box. This is definitely the way to go! If you're looking for "compact" once it's opened, this is not the bag for you. It certainly does take up counter space when gully unfurled; but for our purposes this is the perfect chef's companion. It's highly functional and has great space for items other than knives, which also drew me to it. It does hold up to 20 knives, and although I have read other reviews stating that the tips of the knives have no barrier to keep them from falling out should they be turned upside down, there is a velcro strap that, when the bag is folded, will absolutely keep your cutlery secure. The weight and quality of this bag is exceptional. It's durable enough to be trustworthy, but light enough to be usable. The zippers are durable and the design of this bag makes it very easy to use. In summary, if you are looking for an excellent chef's knife bag, look no further. The value for this bag is excellent. Happy cooking!

I changed out one we already had (not this model), which was unpleasant, dirty, crammed, eh. Why is this one so much better? I'll tell you!! Massively more storage, nicer material, amazingly segmented sections that are well-thought out for proper chef & tool usage, and the best part, for me: On the old knife bag I threw away, the blade strip had velcro behind & in front of the blades - wanting to attach to itself in-between knives. This never worked out, well. HOWEVER, on THIS knife back, there are sections of velcro that begin & end every handful of knives(per the roll-folds), AND both velcro pieces are in FRONT of the knives, just to hold-back in place, NO MESS, just delight!! Thank you for a perfect knife bag!! Looks great, good color, and I even love the material. Brilliantly inspired

I absolutely love this knife case; it’s incredibly practical, and best of all, it holds all my work tools since it has so much space. It also features closures to secure everything inside. I really like it, and it’s easy to take along wherever I go.

Perfect size for me to expand my tools for being a chef...lots of slots and mesh pockets not as thick as I would have liked but still of great quality and lower weight...what attracked me the most was the amout of slots..and the shoulder strap

I have 2 of Asaya's smaller bags and love them, I am weird about organizing my knives, I have several larger 7-8 inch knives and several smaller 5-6 inch knives as well as different size cleavers, and I like to keep specific knives in different bags, plus have plenty of room for other things, call me crazy. but one thing that will not fit, is my 6.7 inch Serbian Chef's knife, it is just way too big, I though I would give this one a try, its not a whole lot larger than the smaller one but it is a bit larger and the mesh pocket might work for that cleaver, and sure enough it did fit! however looking at the knife slots, they seemed really tight, no way are my knives going to fit in these, but to my absolute shock they fit with ease, even those with really large handles fit no problem at all!! I ended up transferring all of my larger knives to this bag now, and my shorter ones to the other two with room for more, which I have 3 more on order arriving today, 2 short and one large!! And enough room now for all! Also, these compact bags fit perfectly in the space I have for them in my kitchen, naturally away from any heat or water.

Decent overall knife roll, especially if you’re on a budget. Plenty of space for knives and other kitchen essentials on the go. The mesh pocket is large enough for some bulky items and the secondary pocket can hold plenty of additional items. I worry how long this roll will last. It doesn’t feel quality as compared to the waxed canvas rolls from Asaya. Overall, can hold the essentials and won’t break the bank

Better than expected. Super spacious, lots of compartments. Just make sure each knife has its own protector to keep the case safe.

Good quality, good spaces, I'm not entirely convinced by the Velcro but I haven't had any problems with it so far.

I like the outer material and the design is quite stylish. It's not premium but it's good value. Only issue I faced is one of the clip straps won't stay fully tight no matter what, and I don't particularly like how the shoulder strap feels. Overall for a first knife roll bag, it's not bad. I would've preferred something higher quality but at the time I couldn't afford anything pricier.
