SITKA GearMen's Dakota

Used this in a cold day in the blind. It kept me warm and didn’t snag on the wire I accidentally got hooked on. It was comfortable to shoulder my shotgun and swing on the birds. I bought the XL and sizing with Sitka is always hard for me. Depending on their “fit” I wear an xxl or xl. I have a 48” chest 36” sleeve, 38” waist and 18” neck. Had room to layer and move comfortably. I am 6’1” and the jacket length was good as well.

Fits great sheds water better than expected since it’s not waterproof and is tougher than I’d expect for a soft shell.

Expensive, but a perfect fit and well insulated. The L size works for a thinner shirt, but leaves room for thicker undergarments. This is actually a better fit than the Stratus Jacket I got recently, and that was quite perfect. Too bad Sitka is so expensive.

Awesome jacket. It's sitka. I would order your normal size if you have other sitka gear jackets. It is still big enough on me to layer my normal base layers.

Very disappointed I have cheap clothes throw away jackets that blow this Dakota jacket out of the water only reason it gets 2’stars is the looks of it I’m beginning to wonder if that is why most people I see wear this stuff around here are well off and don’t spend the time outside in the elements like I do
