Q: What is the battery life on the illumibowl toilet night light new version? my duracell batteries lasted only 2 weeks ! ! !

It depends on the brightness setting. My last about a month on high. However mine stopped working within 2 months. I would not buy it again. I contacted the seller but no response. I was expecting at least a year out of this.

Q: How do you change the color?

One push scrolls through the colors automatically. When you like one, push the button again and it will stay in that color.

Q: Do you have to keep the toilet seat up?

It will work with the seat up or down. But, it is activated only by motion. So, as you enter the bathroom, it will detect your motion and turn on. It's a pretty cool gadget.

Q: Once you set the light color and it turns off, will it turn back on that color or start from the first color?

It'll stay at whatever color you set it. If you leave it rotating through the colors it will always start at red. At least the ones I've bought always start at red. I've bought two.
