Does this work for a plus size momma?

I'm size 12 and the tail isn't all that long. It looks like it does in the picture, which is shorter than I like (although this isn't a dealbreaker; the sling is high quality otherwise). I would say this is really not a good choice for 16 or 18+ mamas. Hint hint Hip Baby! Please make a bigger size of your great sling :

It says machine washable but I'm afraid the ring may damage my washer/dryer. How do you clean the sling?

Try placing a sock over the rings and securing it with a hair tie before washing/drying. It will help cut down on the clanking a bit and protect the rings. I washed mine this way and I didn't have any issues.
