WORKS GREAT ON MY WEBER GENESIS SILVER GRILL
I received this rotisserie the last week of July. I had done a lot of research on what it would take to install this on my Weber grill before purchasing. I knew up front that I would have to do some minor work on the grill to get it to fit so I could close the cover. I used a 1/2" diameter rotary metal bit in my drill to widen and deepen the most center cutouts on each side of the grill. The cutouts were approximately 3/8" wide and about 3/8" deep, I didn't have to remove much stock for width and had to increase depth about 1/4". The grill is cast aluminum so stock removal was easy. If you don't have a rotary metal bit I'm sure that a round file would do the trick with a little work. Also you will need to drill a couple holes for the mounting bracket screws. It took me about 30 minutes to alter the grill, mount the brackets and a little high temp spray paint for grills to cover the scalloped areas.I used the rotisserie two days after receiving and it works great. I've done chickens, beef and pork loins & roasts on it and it works great. No problems. I did a 9# roast on it and it had no problem. I did not need the extension that comes with it as my grill is about 24" long, and with the mounting brackets on each side its the perfect length for the grill. We grill quite often and I use the rotisserie at least once a week. It's been three months and still going strong. We grill all through the winter, only not quite as often, looking forward to rotisserie use this winter season. The only down side is the plastic handle for tightening the counterweight. The threads stripped on the first use. I have an assortment of nuts and found one that fit and then purchased a stainless steel nut so it would not rust. Have to use a wrench to tighten and untighten. The plastic handle threads are not the same as the rod, they are larger so they strip very easily. I thought I might be able to recut the threads but the opening is too large. I read lots of reviews that call this out and thought maybe the supplier would have addressed this issue by now. Shame on them! So if you have a grill this might fit and are handy it's a great buy.

Fit my KitchenAid Grill Perfectly
I really had a desire for a rotisserie chicken. I havenโt used the grill yet this year so I wanted to start with a bang. This rotisserie installed in about 20 minutes. It has everything needed to install it. I just received it today and in no time at all I'm cooking a juicy bird. Motor is very quiet and has plenty of cord. The rod is sturdy and looks to be chrome coated. It works perfectly.

Better than other brands
After returning other Rostisserie Kit that felt cheap and it was one or two inches shorter then my Dyna-Glo Grill, I got this one and I am very happy with it. It looks better, feels sturdier and has more parts. I have used it three times now and it was a success. Not all grills have the same width. While unversla kits may work for many models, some of them may not be long enough for some grills. Make sure you check compability to your grill width.

Small design flaw easy to fix
Love this BBQ rotisserie. Strong, silent motor. One caveat - there is a counter balance which is held in place by the plastic rotisserie handle. This puts quite a bit of pressure on the plastic which I feel will fail quickly. Other reviewers have commented about this. By putting a 3/8" washer (I used stainless steel) between the counter balance arm and the handle, the stress load is equal all the way around. If you don't overtighten the handle this set-up should give you many years of service. Just sayin

100% recomendable.

Fit barbecue just find
What I didnโt like was the black handle will not stay on. The threads on the handle do not match to the size of the retreads on the rod

Good, just the threads in the handle stripped after a month.
It has been almost a year and I can say it has worked well enough. The handle is threaded and plastic, meaning if you loosen/tighten it too many times adjusting the weight, you'll probably strip the threads. It was quite easy. I just solved it with a 1.5" 3/8ths #16 bolt going through from inside the handle and a 3/8" #16 connecter nut to the rod. Problem solved, and it is more stable than the original. Of course, they COULD have easily done that in the factory, probably would have cost them less then the $6 it cost me to fix it.
