The new glass came with four double sided adhesive pads. unfortunately they were only about 1 mm thick. The existing mirror I was supposed to glue the new glass piece onto had a rubber edge which stuck out slightly more than the 1 mm, so i had to double the pads to each other, getting two thicker pads instead of the four normal ones. Hopefully the new glass will hang in there on just two adhesive locations....its seems Ok right now.

On Audis, we all get cloudy mirrors as time goes by from the heating element cooking the silver plating. On my 2002 A6, first of all ignore using the included sticky pads. The only way to mount these, as an inexpensive cover up, is to bead around the black plastic lip with fix all glue (you could also use a contact cement or black silicone RTV adhesive). This is because the mirrors are size cut to the outer plastic dimension, rather than cut simply to fit inside the outer lip (a better idea in my case). I used popsicle sticks on the bottom as shims to keep the mirrors in place while the adhesive cured. This way you will have a waterproof seal to keep out the elements, which will result in longer life. Overall they are OK for the money.

I ordered this for my older daughter's car and I put all the correct information in when I order this but it was no way made for her vehicle.

Good wasn’t enough adhesive strips in my opinion but I put on vehicle in couple minutes and it hasn’t fallen off with driving thru thunderstorms in the freeway for month or two

Had to return because I didnt realize I had heated mirrors, and I'm not going through separating the bracket from the old glass. But when I un boxes the fit up to the old pair perfectly
