SO glad I upgraded
I had a dinky pair of recreational skates for a while and I started taking skating lessons. I quickly learned that I needed to invest in a new pair of skates. I did a ton of research and landed on these. I am so glad I did. They fit me well and I have actually been able to complete many of the skills that I was unable to do before getting these skates. The ankle support is incredible. And it didn't even take me that long to adjust to the new boots.

Perfect!
I’m a size 5.5 and got a size 6 and it fits perfectly! I used them the day after i got them, i did not sharpen the blades but it still did the job.

Great for beginners
I’m an adult (28yo) ice skating beginner. And these skates are amazing. Only took 1 day to break in . Came in factory sharpened, so I didn’t have to worry about it for over a month . I’m so happy my coach recommended these . Also my feet are pretty big , so I was afraid I need to buy men’s but found size 11 in women’s here . Highly recommend!

Use Jackson’s size chart
Measured foot lengths and forefoot diameters while wearing mid weight ski socks that I would wear to stay warm while skating and used Jackson’s size chart to find the correct size (9B).

Great skates!
Great pair of skates but i do not like how the company shipped these to me..they shipped in the actual skate box revealing what was inside...no bueno!

Great beginner figure skate
This is a great pair of beginner figure skate, I ordered through Amazon for faster shipping and it came faster than I would've gotten from Jackson website. The size was perfect for me and I'm so glad I didn't have to return for the size. I wear size 8 shoes and I have relatively wide feet. 8C was perfect for me. It was very tight in the beginning but I got used to it after 3-4 wears. I recommend wearing men's dress socks. The figure skating thighs didn't provide much support and were too thin. Regular socks were too thick. Thinner socks work perfect for me. I weigh quite a lot but still skate in these with no problem. I will probably have to upgrade at some point but these are great skates for beginners especially they aren't too stiff that I can really work on my knee bend and edge control.

Figure Skaters Rejoice
Well you can't be sure the fit is always right on sport skates 6.5 is bigger than a regular shoe size so make sure the length and fit are accurate before you try to use these skates. After sharpening the toe stop is a little bit long and can cause you to fall. Make sure to inspect the blades and have any nubs ground down if they will be too close to the ice.

Well made. Very nice leather and padding. Laces are too short
I bought this on amazon and got it literally the next day despite the forecast being weeks away. So way to go amazon . For reference I got size Y1B.The boot is very well padded and comfortable for my daughter. She's used to the cheap cdntire skates and since she's getting more advanced I decided to splurge and get her these Artiste series with mark iv blades. The skates came sharp and guarded with a plastic guard. They're not rusty like other reviews said ( this is unfortunate for them... Bad luck) The skates are stiff and will require some work to beat them in and that is expected. My daughter found these really stiff but later on was happy with them after just one skate. The only complaint for me was the laces they come with are weak and a bit too short. They're around 78" unstretched. After lacing them up right they only leave a couple inches to knot them to a bow. It would've been nice to have come with 84" laces to be honest and something that doesn't feel like they're going to snap . I ended up buying another set of laces .... Frankly at this price for entry level competitive skates these should come with higher quality laces.Laces aside the boot is ultra comfortable and the exterior leather is really good quality supple soft stuff. I'm happy with them and my daughter is too.If you're a parent that would do anything to support your child's interests, and you see your child excelling here in skating.. I think it's worth spending a tad more than CDN tire skates.UpdateI love these skates. They're budget priced but high quality. It's my THIRD time buying this line of skate for my growing child (obviously increasing in sizes. ). After owning a third pair I will say that the escape does take several hours of skating to break in. Especially the heel which is rather tight initially but eventually the boot loosens up and fits quite well.

OK but yellow stains
The skate fit is great. Unfortunately, each boot has a yellow stain. I tried to wash it off but it is permanent. Near the outside toe on one boot and the back of the other. The yellow looks like mustard??

Amazing skates
comfortable, after the first few times you use it, as I am told should be the case for most skates. Safe for beginners, which is my case. I really like the slightly wider version (I got the intermediate one, not the W). It leaves room for my toes to "breathe", without compromising the tightness around the ankle. I wear the same size as my regular shoes, except for the slightly wider element. I wish they offered a female size in a different color (I was afraid to risk picking an equivalent male size in black).

Beginners
At first it hurts until u get used to it. Just for beginners. Also, if your feet are wide, go for higher size.

Great support
Great support for ankles which are too narrow for width of the foot. To fit the foot, skates were always to big around the ankle for which just tightening the laces never works. That cuts the blood flow off for the foot which start aching and susceptible to getting cold too fast.
