I don't know how many times I have ask if this pure sine wave 1500 watt power Tec on inverter would run an average size refrigerator,,,, out of all the experts that give commentary here no one could really answer that question,,,, not really,,,, guess what,,,,, yes it will run my 15 or 16 cubic foot I believe it is,,,,, refrigerator in fact it runs it without breaking a sweat doesn't even get warm,,,, people review these all the time,,,, I didn't realize it,,,,, these things are huge,,,,this1500 watt model is anyway,,, they are not small and compact they are big boys ,,,,which is fine with me I feel like I'm getting my money's worth,,,, I think they weigh close to 13 pounds and they're they' big,,,, and take up alot of wall space however that's fine with me,,,, so far this thing works really good I can see where some of the other viewers stated you'll have to drill out your existing cabling from your battery pack to the inverter because the studs on the back of this inverter are not cheap,,,, they're beefy they are very big that's cool,,,,I used a Dremel tool with a cutter bit and I was done in nothing flat,,,, I use my existing cables on my system because they're 2/0 ,,,,already fused,,,, this is a preliminary review I guess,,,, somewhat premature really,,,, haven't used it a full 24 hours yet,,,,, I hooked up the remote control because how I've got it mounted I didn't feel like having to bend over every time I wanted to turn it on or off so that remote control is actually a very good feature I could probably use a longer cable and put it over by the refrigerator later on if I want to,,,, however I see no reason to do so at present I have it up high enough to where I cwalk right up and press the button and turn it on and off that is fine,,,,, I don't know how good or bad these units are in general I took a chance we'll see how it works out,,,, I was very pleased after I got my ground and hooked up the other two cables for positive and negative and my Earth ground and everything got it all set up,,,, plugged in a heavy gauge extension cord for my refrigerator,,,, and the inverter was all powered up ready to go,,,, they said it's best to do that with all inverters,,, pre power before plugging something in and turning it on,,,,, and to my surprise it did not even break a sweat didn't struggle or anything else,,,, refrigerator kicked right on,,,, I had been running it(the refrigerator) on a 1500 watt Harbor Freight centech inverter and it had to struggle a little bit and of course modified sine wave isn't good for the frige. it ran a little slower and I suppose a little hotter on a modified sine wave,,,, this inverter mimicks regular 120 60 hertz household grid power very well,,, refrigerator starts right up runs great,,,, I would also like to say so far I'm yet to hear the fans on this thing even kick on hopefully that's a good thing,,,, so far very pleased however I'll have to use it for a while before I can be sure,,, I have a small solar setup made up of several different things,,, if I can get a year-and-a-half for 2 years out of this inverter I will probably buy two or three more for the money I think it's well worth it so far time will tell.regards:::::Bill R................................... Update I have read where people have tried to use this inverter to run microwaves microwaves will use double and sometimes triple the rated power of an inverter at start up because of surge and most pure sine wave inverter's do not surge very highly if anyone wants to run a microwave on DC power this company sells different size inverters you would probably be better off going with a 2000 or 3000 W inverter if you plan to run a microwave or better still if you're in an RV you could get a DC powered microwave but then you have to make sure that your engines running because you need the power of the alternator to run it microwaves are very hard on your battery bank too they ring your batteries completely out after repeated usageas far as this 1500 W inverter that I've purchased here after nearly 6 months is doing very well running my refrigerator which is AN Frigidaire

I got this to power my Travel Trailer. I wanted to be able to run my tv, hair dryer and microwave without having to use my generator. I need a pure sine wave as well. This unit almost fits the bill. You will see from the pictures that the inverter does in fact produce a pure sine wave. It has no problem powering my TV and hair dryer and everything else in the trailer (except AC) but it will not power my 900 watt microwave oven. This seemed strange to me as the microwave oven states that it is 900 watts and the inverter is 1500 watts. I called the number listed in the manual and got through right away. I was put through to tech support and explained the situation. Tech support was very polite and explained that the wattage listed on the microwave is what is focused on cooking the food but that the microwave itself actually draws about twice that amount to make it happen. I verified this with the Internets “When the manufacturers refer to a 1000 watt oven they usually mean heat into food. The efficiency of ovens vary but it is quite common that a 1000 watt would consume 2000 watts”. For my needs I’m sticking with this unit. I don’t want to spend more money for a higher wattage unit. I’m happy with tech support and my purchase so far. If it doesn’t hold up I’ll update this review

The inverter is installed at my remote cabin and is rarely used. Remote switch was the feature for me to buy this inverter. After turning it off, the switch turns it back on automatically. Sometime after few sec, and sometime after few min. The power switch on UPS is malfunctioning, basically the unit has gone bad.

Bought this for Irma hurricane " which hit Florida on sept.2017". I knew we were going to loose power so i went ahead and got this power invterter, I took my 2006 Volkswagen GTI car battery out and connected in pararell with my Fiance Honda Accord 2017 car battery "which have remote start" so i connected everything together and laid a power extention to my home. So this was the steps that i took, Left the hood open on the car, windows up and a/c off, with the car remote i turned the engine on from 8:00 am to 11:00am then i turned it off and back on from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Before going to sleep "Around 10:00pm i disconnected the refrigerator "since we didnt open it at night everything still frozen by next morning" we just left the fan and 2 lamps on until morning were the entire process repeats. SUPER long story short this thing was able to power a full size top freezer kenmore refrigerator, 4 lamps, cellphones charger, 2 walkies talkies charger" all cell towers were down", 1 small 32" tv, 1 floor standing fan, and my xbox one all at the same time. We were without power for 1 week, so when we had to cook I just disconected the fridge for a couple minutes while we cook on the counter top oven and small burner, the when we were done cooking, we just plug the refrigerator back. This inverter was inside the car the whole time and never got hot even with the windows up and the A/C off, it has 2 small fans which kept everything under control, and just for reference the car just used about 1/4 of the tank of gas which is about $12.00 of premiun gas and we had power, frozen food, cooked food, enterteiment, and comunication for a week, I would recommend this Power Inveter to anyone !!!

I purchased this inverter in April of 2022 for use in my hunting cabin. Primarily used for charging hunting radios, cabin LED lighting and the odd piece of small electronics, it received light, indoor usage only. For the last two years following its purchase, it was also used for my hunting partner‘s CPAP, a small, portable, low-draw device. The inverter worked admirably for the first year until the first malfunction occurred. When I finally decided to plug in and use the included remote control switch/wire, the inverter kept turning off intermittently without warning. Eventually, I had to disconnect the remote unit to stop the malfunction, which did not reoccur with the remote unplugged. I contacted customer support; they could not identify the problem. So, because the warranty had just expired, they would not replace the remote. They sent me a link and suggested that I simply purchase another of their remote units. I declined and just left the remote unplugged. This February (2024), I was up at the cabin for a few days. After the 2nd day, during the night, I woke to the sound of three pops. As the inverter was mounted on the wall above my bunk for proper ventilation/cooling of the unit, I was close enough so I could smell the electrical burning. At the time of its demise, my buddy‘s CPAP was the only thing drawing power. (Perhaps 30 watts/hour; low amp-draw). His cot was far enough away to not hear the inverter die, but woke when his small CPAP immediately stopped working (for obvious reasons). Once determining that nothing was visibly on fire, I disconnected the inverter from the two Weize 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries/200 watt solar charge controller. Incidentally, during its installation two years prior, I had properly installed the inverter’s ground lug to a proper grounding rod, driven deep into the outside turf. I’m very thankful that I did. The next morning, I checked all wiring, batteries, solar panels, etc.; all were in working order with no damage or shorts. The inverter, however, had no working AC outlets, no fault-light, no visible charring. The small USB charging port, however, still worked. If I were to take a guess, I‘d say that the inverter had less than 250 hours of light usage on it. I‘m rating the inverter with one star. While it‘s a 1500 watt, solidly-built unit, pure-sine, and has three ac plugs, I have legitimate concerns regarding its longevity, if not its actual safety.

Delivery was quick and complete. I tested it out and it worked perfectly. I'm using it as a replacement for a generator in medium length (up to 1 day) power outages to keep my business computers running. Modified square wave wasn't recognized by my UPS as a valid power source (didn't charge, this was true for several brands), and I thought I'd try a full sine inverter. It worked great, and the unit is much beefier than the modified square ones I could get. Now when power goes out (a frequent event in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky), the UPS keeps things running long enough to pull lead acid batteries off the charging station and plug the UPS into the inverter with no loss of up time. Before, I had to power down and switch all the individual lines directly to the inverter, then do the reverse when power came back up. Now I just plug the UPS back into the wall. I've only done a test run at full load for 4 hours, so I don't know the longevity of this device. The combined equipment pulls about 800 watts (I purposely supersized the inverter), and there are no signs of heating in the inverter -- the case remains roughly room temperature and the fans haven't kicked in. No-Load current is between 10-100 milliamps. There is no display other than some LEDs, but you can get separate products to measure wattage, battery voltage, etc fairly cheap.

I bought this for camping and power outage use. Testing on my Toyota Vibe with engine idling, I was able to power a 900 watt space heater, but above that the voltage dropped and the battery started to discharge. No overheating even after flipping the heater to the 1500 watt setting for 15 minutes. Flipping the heater off and on produced no noticeable strain or idle speed change. I'd guess I'd use 1/3 gallon of gas per hour of use, like others have reported. 900 watts of continuous power is plenty for what I need, like refrigerator and freezer. I'd suggest purchasing a heavy-duty extension cord (12 gauge) to the house. Cheaper than a quiet (sine wave) gas generator, and more compact in storage. 1500 watt / 3000 peak may be an overkill, but I wanted to make sure it could start up and power a 1/3 hp. sump pump if needed. This is one of those many things you get what you pay for. Being one of the cheapest pure sine wave inverters on the market .. there ya go. First I'll say for general usage, it works as advertised. I give it only 3 stars for the following reasons. The fans are really loud when they come on. The fan is not a variable speed, either it's on or off. But one thing I consider a flaw is the fact that the fan will come on even if the unit is turned off. This tells me the fan is simply connected to a thermal sensor and comes on when the unit is warm, like if the inside vehicle temperature gets warm enough to kick it in, even though the unit is turned off. Very strange and annoying in my van. The only way around this is to disconnect it from the batteries when not in use, which is annoying too. I would like to enclose the unit to help muffle the sound of the fans, but that will reduce it's cooling abilities so I keep it in open air and put up with the noise or disconnect it. It has issues running my Keurig, sometimes it works but usually it doesn't. I think the Keurig has a power surge on startup of about 1200 watts (still trying to confirm this). The unit will alarm when I turn on the Keurig, and often times it will shutdown. I guess this is especially annoying in the morning before I have my coffee! The peak on the inverter is 3000 watts, so I'm not sure what its problem is. I relate this to being its cheapness, unless the Keurig is surging higher than 3000 watts, which I can't imagine it does. if I find otherwise, I will update this review accordingly.

Cumple con su función pero hay 2 inconvenientes, el primero y más importante es que solo por mantenerse en standby consume 1.17A aunque no tenga nada conectado, esto obliga al usuario a tener que estar prendiendo y apagando el inversor cada que quieres utilizar algún aparato eléctrico, de otra manera el mismo inversor se acabara tus baterías solo por estar prendido. El segundo inconveniente es que el beep de alarma no se puede silenciar y es sumamente molesto, ya se que hay una disminución de voltaje, ya me lo esta indicando con el led rojo, debería poder silenciar la alerta.

What can I say. I purchased this 1500w unit and can't see why I would need any higher rated inverter. I've had this unit installed as part of my 400w solar system, 4- T105 batteries with PD9260 charge converter and Go Power 30 amp transfer switch. This set up has worked great. There is no appliance I can't run off this inverter. I've powered ALL the outlets in our travel trailer with this set up and the inverter has worked flawlessly. Of course I can't run the microwave at the same time as my coffee machine, but that's no problem. I don't think my batteries would like it, even if I could run both off the inverter. Good unit.

I haven't had a chance to run it long and hard, but I did try it on my work bench with a deep cycle battery. I ran an electric heat gun on it for a few minutes. No problems, it wasn't straining at all, fans didn't even need to come on. In a few days, we'll be on the road with our 5th wheel, and that's when we can give it good work out. But I'm confident it will be fine. It's heavy, and has a quality feel to it.

I am satisfied so far. Seems good quality. Only downside, will not stand my 1000 w microwave in my RV even considering the 3000 w surge power indicated.
