Great batteries
Between remote controls and headlamps used for assembling and painting models, I have a mightly need for AAA batteries. Rayovacs are a great balance of price and battery life.

Rayovac for the win
Started using these after trying Harbor Freight batteries (no good) so I was skeptical at first. However, Rayovac holds it's own and performs just as good as the two bigger battery brands. A battery stash is always needed in our house mainly for gaming and TV remotes so I usually buy the big packs of double and triple A. We have been using them for past few years and never been disappointed yet. Great value for the money, esp if you catch a sale. Try them for yourself.

Top Rated in my opinion
The Rayovac Alkaline High Energy AAA work great in a small flashlights. Due to the high temperatures in the desert, we need to take our daily walk after dark sometimes. We have a number of flashlights that are used that usually require the AAA. Buying in the larger packages usually provide for the best value and haven't had a problem with shelf life. Before I use them, I test them for voltage -- never a problem so far. The Rayovac brand works a well and the other brands in my opinion.

I feel like these might not be as powerful as Duracell or Energizer. When I put a brand new battery in my car remote starter fob, it struggles from day 1. Other batteries do not have this same problem.
