Quake 3 Arena

I bought this game thinking it was just another FPS that broke barriers back in the day. I was wrong. This shooter is so much fun that I just could not put the controller down. You pretty much just battle it out in a multitude of well made maps and challenging opponents. I was addicted after the first kill. Playing with someone else in multi-player is even more fun. Going head to head with 3 of your buddies can be a great time, even on an old CRT TV. ;) This game is over a decade old but I still love it. I grew up in the 90's and the early 2000's so I was brought up watching the gaming world develop into what it is today. These games are great for a look back into what was... AND a fun time. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has a Dreamcast console. Although some of the controls can be a bit tricky to master, it's suitable for anyone who is familiar with the Dreamcast gaming console and first person shooters.

great way to start liking Halo Reach, if you ONLY have a dreamcast.....outdated now, but still fun!

The control is hard, and the story is,...okay. Other than that it offers online gameplay, and is a cool game to own.

A true classic Run-N-Gun game that will keep your finger on the trigger button. Lots of levels, characters, weapons, rockin' music, stellar graphics, customisable controls & multiplayer frag fests to keep you on your toes- & the single player mode ain't bad, either. I've had this game for years & if there's anything bad about this game, I haven't found it yet. A guilty pleasure if you just want to run through beautifully rendered & highly detailed levels & blow some people, aliens, monsters, ect. into jibs. Even today, this Dreamcast title is great & it's also better than the PS 2 version.

Does not have an inverted Y-Axis option. This is the one and only reason I gave this game a low rating. It's Quake. You kill people. It would be fun otherwise, but I can't play it. The graphics and animation are good. the stages are neat. I like the characters. There should be a Quake movie.... you might like this game if you can push up to look up.

great game on the dreamcast Quake is prolly forgotten by most people now but its a good early fps game this one could go online and also allowed you to play it with a keyboard. Fun game to play with friends and you should pick this up if you have friends to play it with. Good still for 4 players matchs locally
