Do not waste your money i read the reviews and though oh its will be ok we are only using it for the sofa. Well it is very slippery as stated in other reviews and very steep. We have purchased another one for the bedroom and wanted to add a second one, this was not the one to add. It was very quickly returned as it is not worth the money even if it cost 10 dollars its dangerous for the dogs. i highly suggest not purchasing this product.

Darn! There is no traction on this. It looks great, is plush and wooden, or possibly veneer as well. Seems very sturdy and well made. My dog can not get reactions when climbing. Also, at the top is a sizable gap, the width of the ramp. If my fog were able to get traction and make it up, then I would have to get my handyman to fill in the gap. The gap is very dangerous- a dog could easily get stuck and ultimately break a leg! Not sure why there is such poor design with this! Too bad!

Our little 5 lb Pomchi uses it to go up and down to get on the bed. It is very sturdy, we had to put a non slip mat under it, as we have laminate flooring. There is a gap at the top between the frame and the fabric ramp, for most dogs would be no problem but because our dog is so little, she could almost fall thru it, so we used a small pillow and stuffed it in and then under our mattress, and it works perfectly. She even sometimes just sleeps on that pillow at the top. The fabric looks and feels great, but it is almost to smooth, she has to use speed to get up and is cautious coming down, but she is only 5 months old and will get used to it. But over all it looks excellent, well manufactured and suits the purpose we purchased it for.

These stairs look great and are solid, however they aren’t useful at all. The angle of the stairs is very steep and the fabric is very slippery. We bought them for our 10lbs chihuahua however he couldn’t use them. He couldn’t get enough grip to go up the incline. We ended up buying foam stairs which were much more practical.

Will be a great product for a less timid dog. Our dachshund said it was a bit too steep for his delicate spine, unfortunately. Good, sturdy product with a cushioned ramp, perfect height for the sofa we were using it at. Would buy for a different dog, our 13 yr old cat thought it was nifty but she can still jump.
