Battery Replacement for ipad pro 9.7 (A1673 A1674 A1675)+Professional Tool Kit

The original battery in my iPad wouldn’t last an hour. This battery seems to last much longer. Time will tell on that. So far, so good. The tools that came along with it were not the highest quality, but were able to do the job. Plenty good for one use. If you have never worked on iPads, watch some YouTube videos for YOUR SPECIFIC device! They all seem to be different inside, some are easier to work on, some not so much. Apple does their best to keep things mixed up.

Once installed, had 65% juice left. It was not hard to install except separating the screen from the frame. And removing the old battery as it’s glued in place and when batteries generate heat the glue becomes much harder to remove. The battery fits perfectly and there’s no question on its orientation. Came with tools to get it done properly. It’s too early to know how good this battery will hold up in the longer run, but as it’s not an Apple OEM part I don’t have super high expectations. I’m just glad I can keep my iPad unplugged for longer than a minute before it would shut down like before.

So happy once I talked it was charged at 75%. Once used and battery when down to 1%. The battery will only charge to 10%. Waste of time and money!!!!

No complaints about this battery. It fit exactly fine and my iPad is now working as well as it ever has.

battery stucked on 17% and not recharging upon installing. Unfortunately waited too long and missed opportunity to return the item.

Hardest part was the adhesive from old battery and removing it . Heat gun definitely needed to open screen and remove old battery . Once that’s done all else is easy by following one of many YouTube videos .
