I had no idea an Otamatone could bring so much joy to a child. I purchased two, one "kirby" and the other Sanrio Gudetama. Both my 9yo grand daughter and 10 yo grand son were so excited. The sound is not so loud as to drive the parents crazy, and fun enough to keep them busy playing along with their favorite songs or making up their own silly songs. They both love it. a good purchase.arrived early. packaged well.

When my daughter said she wanted this I thought it would be another fad toy that was played with once and forgotten about. She absolutely LOVES it! She taught herself to play happy birthday and has already performed for a few family members for they birthday.

It is more annoying than almost anything I have heard but it was fun to try to figure it out and play around with it. The idea is cool but it could be more sensitive to touch.My son enjoyed learning songs on it and can play a few tunes.I wish I could have more control over the sound and other things.

Grandson was so excited to receive this. He has been enjoying making music . The price was really great

Like any musical instrument, it is not easy to master. However, the grandkids (ages 10 and 8) had a great time fooling around with it trying to make music and different sound effects. I'm not sure how long this novelty will last, but it is inexpensive enough to try out.

Something for the Grandkids to play with Grandpa next time they visit. Fun and easy to play with practice. Better than a video game!

This is a fun and easy to learn musical toy. You may make good tunes out of it if you get creative with it. However, the thing drains battery if you forgot to turn it off. The batteries are totally dead after I left it on for 3-4 days.

This thing is so cute! My son is obsessed with Gudetama and suddenly became interested in this instrument. What luck that we found one to combine both interests. It’s easy to figure out how to use and (thank God) the volume is adjustable. It’s a lot of fun and looks cute on a shelf.

I've ordered the Raging aggretsuko and received the normal one. To make any sound you have to squeeze with ur thumbs and figner to make any note. If u releize it a bit it wont work....... but still having fun

We did receive an Aggretsuko version, however it was not the "rage" version we ordered, however it's still cute. Just remember to turn it off when not in use as it will drain the batteries fairly quickly if not off.
