Ideal for splattering paint
I bought this after watching a video on YouTube where it was used to splatter painting onto a canvas.I used it with orange, pink and white acrylic paint and painted over a ceiling attic cover that was made of wood. I watered down the paint slightly and had so much fun using this brush. It is very strong and sturdy and the handle is long enough to easily grip onto. The bristles are long and fold back easily to allow you to splatter paint onto a surface with very little effort. I used water colour paints and the brush was easy to clean afterwards. The bristles are thick and synthetic, they are 12cm long. The handle is 12cm and in total including the bristles the brush is 24cm long and 1.5cm wide.It is perfect for what I bought it for and will reuse it again and again. It is ideal and much easier than trying to splatter and flick the paint using a small brush such as a tooth brush or similar. This makes light work of this type of project.

Careful
These brushes are great and this would have a 4 or 5 star review if not for my the issue mentioned below. Just a note... be careful you can flick large amounts of fluid paint in any direction for several feet. So yes they're great watch other things don’t get inadvertently splatted.I was a little unfortunate with this item though as the ferrule wasn't entirely secure, secure enough to use but with a properly secured ferrule it would obviously last for far longer. On occassion itll be used with force so it will not have the life another with a secure ferrule would and given these aren't cheap disposable items (its a brush) and lets be honest you can use any number of improvised devices to create splatters of paint you don't expect a (relatively) pricey item not be perfect. I ordered a flat splatter version too and thats fine. This is more than a niggle. I use Amazon prime for the next day delivery but recently Im beginning to question this as a Amazons USP given a number of late items and issues such as this and Im not the kind of person to grumble unnecessarily.

Lovvvveee these brushes!!
I bought these for painting and blending Annie Sloan chalk paints (the 4 inch one) and they are brilliant! Such great quality bristles, no stray bristles in your paint! They are also really easy to handle - literally. I was working with water based paints so cleaning the brushes was easy. They are quite pricey but I bought two and then having used them went straight back for a third!!!

Really excellent
I am new to art but I had a similar brush from an inferior brand, which constantly shed hair. I then ordered this one and wow what a difference. Really great brush and I know it will last if I look after it. I am using it with acrylic on very large canvases to make abstract. I love it! I really can’t fault liquitex paint either. Really like the brand
