I did not have an issue with the adhesive backing sticking to the carbon fiber trim in my 2018 BMW M4. I cleaned the surface I was applying it to thoroughly and then installed the molding trim. It is firmly in place and although subtle it does add to the look of the interior.I would recommend that you check the curve of the unit before you remove the adhesive backing to make sure it matches the contour of the console. If it does not it can easily be bent to fit. I used a can of Progresso Soup as a form.

Product is as described. Glue is nice and strong, fit is perfect. At first i was somewhat skeptic and not sure if it will look good in my 7 series but after the 2 minutes install it looks like a true OEM part. Love it.

Added a nice touch to the inside. Not much of a difference with the before and after. The only concern is the sticker might not last that long.

Quality is just ok and is very very thin. This trim was not manufactured to fit my Series 4 BMW well at all as description stated. The curved area on each side of the MultiMedia control button has nothing there for this trim piece to stick to. Once installed you can push down on this trim piece, on each side of MultiMedia control knob, and it flex’s down and has a space under the edge that can trap dust/dirt etc. Comes off easily too. Poor stick. Not much thought went into the design. Waste of money. I will update here if seller addresses this to me and does anything positive. Update: 5 days since this complaint and no response from seller. I do not recommend this seller.

Bought a pair of these for our Beemers, very satisfied with both fit and finish! Nice looking addition, adds a finished look to what appeared to me as a unfinished look stock. They look like bmw forgot to add them lol. A good buy no doubt.

Fit perfect in my BMW X3 2014, but the adhesive is the worst quality! I replace the original tape for a 3MM high quality and now looks very nice in my multimedia buttom area.

This border really enhanced the look of my car's interior.Paired it with the mirror chrome multimedia knob.I don't know what the fuss was about regarding the 3m tape, it stuck on perfectly.Just clean the area with rubbing alcohol before you attempt to stick it and press and hold it for up to 30 seconds.It stuck perfectly.Happy with my order.See pictures

if the inserts are added this chrome molding will be too tight cause the buttons to stick in the down position
