Just out of curiosity, I bought it for my six year grandson just to see how he likes it. He was thrilled to assemble 40% of telescope by himself just by reading steps in the nicely illustrated book. Just showed him one step and rest he wanted to do it on his own. Even he could tell the next step from the book and take out appropriate part for assembly. The math part was of course beyond him but still enjoyed final assembly.
