A must for propane tanks.
They fit perfectly to my propane tanks. The quality is very good; I am sure they will last quite a while. They are covered so they aren't totally exposed to the elements.

Turned an old worthless horizontal tank into a usable one
I replaced a horizontal tank in my RV a while back and ended up with a re-certified 25 year old one...that was full of gas. Problem was that none of my propane appliances had the old style male connectors. Found this adapter on Amazon and for less than a tank full of gas. However, when I tried screwing it into the valve, I couldn't get the threads to engage. I was pretty hot about having to return it but then it dawned on me that the threads inside the female valve were revered. Tried screwing the darn thing in the opposite way and "viola"- success. I will now not only be able to use the remaining gas in the old tank but since it's re-certified, I can use it for another 10 years...and those tanks ain't cheap. This adapter is a great money saver if you have an old style propane tank. Seems durable and well made. I'd recommend it.

Does it's job.
I use this to convert my 100 pound tanks to work on my rv. This adapter is needed to make it work. I bought one a few years ago, and had a leaking issue because the rubber sealing oring broke. Easy fix. Just replaced the oring. They are available on Amazon as well. Haven't had any other issues. This one that I'm writing a review about is still in its package. I bought it for my other 100 pound tank so I don't have to swap the adapter from tank to tank anymore. But it's always good to have a spare anyway. Just in case anyone isn't aware, the propane fitting is REVERSE thread. So lefty tighty, righty loosy.

Perfect 100lb tank conversion
Great compact adapter that easily screwed into my 100lb tank with the included plastic adapter. Solid metal, no leaks.
