Good as always, brikenstock have a good footbed but make sure you don't slip in slippery floors..

Birkenstock Madrid Unisex-Adults' Sandals Red (Kirsch) - 5.5 UK]]The fit is fine but the colour is not as advertised in the photo. I bought these thinking they were a dark red, but they are a very bright red, almost an orangey red. Needless to say, I am a little disappointed - I only hope they darken with wear. Everything else about them, the fit etc., is good. Would I buy them again? Definitely not in red, but maybe another colour. They are, however, as all Birkenstock, very comfortable.

Its winter and I am still wearing them around the house! I bought these for my holiday to Turkey, back in May. I wanted a sandal that was very comfortable, easy to wear and would not heat my feet up. I made a great choice with Birkenstock. Once you have worn Birkenstock you won't buy anything else. Unfortunately my children have tried my sandals on and now want a pair each! I would suggest that if you do buy these for your holiday, wear them for a few weeks before you go to get used to them. After that you won't want to take them off your feet!

Not been able to wear these at all. Bought the same size as my other 4 pairs and have worn Birkenstock Madrid’s for years. These I can’t even get my toes into properly and as I didn’t try them on straight away (why would they be any different?) I then missed out on return time slot. Say in the box in the cupboard, mocking me! Rubbish.

I’ve had these shoes for around three weeks. And they have started to fall apart on me. Now when I walk in them stones are going through the sole of the shoe where it’s worn out under my toes.

They were huge more like a size 9 than an 8!
