A: Lots of halves.  And some smaller pieces also.  The nuts taste very good and fresh

**Q: Are they whole halves? or small pieces?**
A: I bought the one-pound bag.  
Here's what I got:  a mix of halves and halves of halves.  This is what I mean, if you were to shell one walnut and came out with the complete, ready to eat  whole walnut, and you break it in half; then you got two halves.  Now, take one half and break it in half, you have one half and two halves of a half
That's what I got: halves and quarters; nothing smaller than a quarter of the whole.
