Does accept banana plugs...
...however I bought the wrong style. These need a very small hole but my speakers use the sockets with a bigger hole. I've now ordered the right ones but I'm keeping these just in case.

Poor
The plug end doesn’t accept banana plugs. The hole is too small. I’ve had to bore it out more, in the process found that the metal is silver underneath so they are not even copper. The threading is slack and the finish is poor. Save your money and buy some better ones because these are like they have come out of a Christmas cracker
