I've been wanting to do a family tree for a while and finally bit the bullet with this book. Great cover and a nice weight to the pages but not ideal. You get space to go 5 generations deep with 5 family trees. Followed by 5 entries (one for each tree) for Our Family and Our Family Pictures so you can go into some detail about the parents and their children. 6 pages each to track Photo Records and Family Recipes (date acquired, acquisition, surname, description of recipe) followed by 10 pages for actual recipes. Then space for Cemetery Records (10), Heirloom Records (6 pages), Correspondence Log (6 pages), Data Records (2 pages), Research Trail (5 pages) . It would seem that if you are doing separate family trees it may be nice to have all the details organized together for each tree. It also doesn't really give you the space to "drill down" on the children for each set of parents for all five generations in one family tree (15 per family tree) so you miss a lot of details regarding aunts/uncles/cousins. This will work fine for organization the general details but I'm still on the hunt for more ideal book to store family records.

Charts have boxes big enough to write in. Plenty of info pages . Not for beginners who need explanations; although a reading person could figure them out. Exactly what I wanted

These are hard to fine. My grandniece and I had a real bonding session erasing the birthdays and anniversaries from the book, and adding our family’s birthdays.

Exactly what any genealogist "Wanna Be" could use for research.

El apartado de arbol, está bien, pero el resto, para mi, no es muy práctico. Vienen recetas de la familia, que no es para mi gusto muy necesario y tema de cementerios, que tampoco sirve de mucho. Seguiré buscando opciones

Bought this for my great nephew who always asks how we are all related. My brother (his grandpa) is doing the family genealogy so I thought this would be a great way for them to connect who is who. There are spaces for family photos and recipes as well which adds an interesting and fun component to the project. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Great tool for tracking family history! Simple layout, plenty of space, and easy to personalize. Perfect for organizing generations and keeping everything in one place. My Father in Law absolutely loves this.
