Naturalistic. Like a volano. Never mind phony ceramic logs.
Mar 2025 - New home. New empty gas fireplace and Christmas was coming. Gotta do something, fast. Never tried lava rock before. In fact grew up with wood fireplaces, mostly. Ceramic logs way too phony. Lava rocks, medium sized, piled in the pan below the gas pipe worked great. Fooled around with placement and one can well imagine being on the slopes Mona Loa watching the flames crawl up through the cracks. A very satisfactory and kinda truthful, naturalistic effect. We like it a lot!

Met Described Expectations
Product arrived in a timely manner and was as described in the offer. While the product had no issues, for me, the product was too small for my project. The product was usefu, just not the size I was looking for in the project.

Gas fire pit came with some lava rocks, but not enough to cover flame burner and this did.

DANGER!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! These rocks explode! Almost burned my wife's eyeball. Piece lodged in the corner of her eye. Pieces flying all over the place. If it gets wet, they will explode next time they are heated! TERRIBLE PRODUCT. There are lava rocks that can get wet, because the lava rocks that I had in the fire pit before never exploded, even when wet. DO NOT BUY
