I've been using retinol for many years, mostly Neutrogena from the drugstore or Boots that I ordered online. I tried the Dermalogica on recommendation of an aesthetician who did a facial for me. It was a little more expensive, but I use other Dermalogica products, so I believe in the quality. I was very impressed!. Within weeks I noticed that some problem areas looked much better with fewer fine wrinkles and better clarity. I didn't have much need for the buffer cream because my skin was used to retinol.
