Luna Bazaar 32-Inch Orange Paper Parasol Umbrella - Chinese/Japanese Paper Umbrella - For Weddings and Personal Sun Protection

The parasol unfolded (and refolded) perfectly. The strings (yes cotton ish string) were all tied correctly. The wood stays are all identical. The paper had no flaws and the orange color was consistent throughout. I will give this parasol a useability test at pride.

I got these because I am attending an outdoor wedding this summer and as usual, while the bride and groom are standing in a lovely shaded arch the wedding guests are dressed up and sitting in the sun. For the record -those planning weddings - no one wants to sit in the sun. Anyway, this time I and the bride's mom will be prepared with these very pretty paper umbrellas. I got the light purple - it's a pale lavender so it won't clash with other colors. These will hold up well during the ceremony and the cocktails (also on an open patio) :) I highly recommend. And they came very quickly.

I bought the "perfect white" parasol to paint for a Kaylee Frye cosplay. I used a couple coats of acrylic to paint the swirls, and it came out really good. It is very white so it looks a little too new for the nature of the cosplay, but I'm working on slowly weathering it to dingy status.It feels sturdy and held up all day at a convention without breaking. I just noticed it has a crack down the middle of the stem though-- probably from someone bumping into it, which happened a lot on the convention floor. I'm just going to tape it up and it'll add to the authenticity, I guess. It doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything.I like that it came in a paper sleeve. I kept the sleeve for storage since it keeps the parasol compact when its closed.Overall this parasol is great for the price and saved me a lot of money over buying a pre-made Kaylee parasol. I'll update this review if it ever breaks down the line.

Haven’t used them yet. The quality is very good. I think they’ll look adorable.

Loved the color, but too small. Disappointed that it was to expensive to return & had to loose out.

I bought this parasol to protect my skin from the hot, hot sun. It's pretty, but the color is rather browner than the gold it appears to be in the photograph. Still, it's well-made and good to have at hand.

As described! Arrived in two days from order, well packaged! When opening this for the first time you need to gently loosen the umbrella and gently open it. Do not force the umbrella open or force latch it in place, it is a very tight fit but very well made. As a paper parasol made from rice paper, you cannot expect this to withstand overuse or a heavy hand. Would definitely order again!

I had been looking for a paper parasol, but all I was running across were fabric. Haven't used it yet, but will be using for shade on sunny spring/summer outings. It looks to be sturdy with the paper having a substantial weight. I'm a little concerned about the strings that run thru the ribs and such, as it appears to be little, if any, thicker than sewing thread. I'll update after some use.
