I use petrolium based product as a variant for the Indian oiling since oils are too light on my hair. Just section the hair in two and put an almond size in each section, brush good and your hair won't be greasy, if there is not enough then add another until you're satisfied. **Q: does this promote new hair growth?** A: Yes, Its not to greasy, it smells just right, and provides the right amount of nourishment **Q: By using this will it pull the color?** A: no **Q: Does it do well with african hair type** A: Yes, it does work on African hair styles.
