Short life span...
Works well but doesn't last very long. I have used several of these on my fountain and they only last 2-3 months.

Das pump works goood
Beefy construction, and pumps a good amount of water for so small. Mount plate detaches for easier installation.

Not quiet. Might work for a fountain.
Simply wouldn't hold a prime. Submerged in water and it kinda pumps. Raise it out of the water with suction hose still in water and it stops pumping. This is only suitable as a submerged pump.

Itโs tiny but powerful
This was used for circulating water from a hot tub through solar heating panels. I actually used two of these pumps (one feeding the other) because the solar panels were on a roof approximately 16ft higher than the pump location. The pumps were also controlled by a solar panel so they automatically turned on and off.

Best Bang for the Buck, IMO
Trying to figure out, real-world, the best small water-pump for hydroponics/aquaponics/etc with low enough current draw to utilize a solar (PV) + battery setup requires a little trial and error. The smaller inlets/outlets can become clogged too easily during algae blooms or late filter changes/cleanings. This is the smallest pump I could find, with enough flow, which LASTS. 1 of 4 was DOA or defective, but it could have also been from a power surge. Love these pumps. Theyโre my go-tos, for now.

Pump failed after about 3 days of use in PC for water cooling. Highest pump temp was 110F
After installing the pump I was very happy. Space is tight and this pump is small enough to give me more space. Once I got the system filled I noticed the pump was louder then the one I replaced. Did burn in test on PC and all worked great for the first couple of days but I woke up today and the system shut down. Tried to start it up again and the pump was making a high pitched screeching noise. Specs says the pump can take the temp but it failed. It also does not seam to have the a head height of 4m. I was getting a very low flow rate from the pump too only about 50L/H the pump is rated at 800L/H this is quite a drop. Returning pump since it now makes a very loud noise. Pump ratting states good up to 149F.

Smaller than expected..
Smaller than expected but I think it will work for my purposes ..

Bought the wrong type of pump
Still tested it out though, and works well. Ill find a use for it. The pump requires flow from the inlet - if you're going to install this above your supply look for a 12v RV pump

Another one died again
Died again. Will have to look for something else for pond. Solar regulated power source

Flow rate
Lead wires kind of short, was hoping to avoid a underwater splice. On wide open flow I measured 2 gallons per minute, not 3.5, but more than enough for my 2 dozen plants.

Great little pumps.
I used these pumps in my hydroponic greenhouse all year with now problems.Lots of lift with with low power consumption.

Flow not closed when pump is off
No instructions and no indication of which port is in and out. This type of pump does not stop flow when off which would have been a nice addition in product description.
